The Site is offered by “la comunidad” Corporation d/b/a The Community (“the community”, “we”, “us”, “our”).
This Privacy Policy explains what information may be collected through the Site, your choices about the collection and use of your personal data, how such information may be used and/or shared with others, how we safeguard it and how you may access and correct your information if it is collected for our marketing communications and activities.
With its headquarters in Miami and operations in other countries, the community has adopted a Privacy Policy that complies with U.S. legal requirements but creates a common core of values, policies and procedures. This Privacy Policy and any accompanying notices and requests for consent establish our minimum global standard for collecting, using and protecting information that the community collects from users of www.thecommunityagency.com.
While this Privacy Policy is intended to describe the broadest range of our information collection and processing activities that might take place, those activities may be more limited in some jurisdictions based on the applicable local restrictions. Information You Provide To Us
When you use the Site or communicate with us about the Site, we or our service providers may collect information that could reasonably be used to contact you or to identify you personally, referred to as Personal Information (also Personally Identifiable Information or PII in the U.S. and Personal Data in the European Union) such as your name, e-mail address, telephone number or mailing address. We may also collect Personal Information submitted to us in connection with job applications through the Site or through contests, interactive features, information you post to the site, or messages you submit to us.
Information Collected Automatically
Usage Information. Whenever you visit or interact with the Site, the community, as well as any third-party advertisers and/or service providers, may use a variety of technologies (“Tracking Technologies”) that automatically or passively collect information about how the Site is accessed and used (“Usage Information”). Usage Information may include, in part, browser type and version, screen size, operating system, the page served, the time, the preceding page views, domains, and aggregated data related to your use of the Website. This provides us with information about the use of the Site, such as how many visitors visit a specific page on the Site, how long they stay on that page, and which hyperlinks, if any, they “click” on. This information helps us keep our website fresh and interesting to our visitors and tailor content to visitors’ interests.
Device Identifiers. The community may also automatically collect your IP address or other unique identifier, including (on mobile devices) Google’s Ad ID and the Apple ID for Advertising, or IDFA (“Device Identifier”) for the computer, mobile device, technology or other device (c “Device”) you use to access the Site. A Device Identifier is a number that is automatically assigned to your Device so that when you access any web site, including ours, the site can identify your Device by its Device Identifier. It does not directly identify you, but may identify you when combined with other information. We may use a Device Identifier to, among other things, administer the Site, help diagnose problems with our servers, analyze trends, track users’ web page movements, help identify, and gather broad demographic or firmographic information for aggregate use.
Cookies; Pixel Tags. The Tracking Technologies used on the Site to collect Usage Information, including Device Identifiers, may include but are not limited to: cookies (data files placed on a Device when it is used to visit the Site), mobile analytics software (on our mobile site) and pixel tags (transparent graphic image, sometimes called a web beacon or tracking beacon, placed on a web page or in an email, which indicates that a page or email has been viewed). We, or our vendors, may place cookies or similar files on your Device for many purposes, including to facilitate site navigation and to personalize your experience while visiting our Site (such as allowing us to select which content, is most likely to appeal to you, based on your interests, preferences, general geographic location, or demographic or firmographic information). A pixel tag may tell your browser to get content from another server.
Similarly, we may use Google Analytics and/or Adobe Analytics (our “Service Providers” ) to help us track and analyze usage of our Site using cookies, pixels and other Tracking Technologies. We do not use the data collected on the Site for interest based advertising (“IBA”), but you can opt out of having any data collected by other companies, including our Service Providers, used for IBA by going to http://optout.aboutads.info/choices, or by going to https://www.networkadvertising.org/understanding-online-advertising/what-are-my-options, and opting out of our Service Providers’ use of your personal information. These opt outs now permit choices about non-cookie tracking as well as the use of cookies for IBA. Device Linkage. When you visit our Site from different devices we may associate your devices with each other. We may link them probabalistically, by making certain observations and assumptions, or by recognizing patterns of use, or we may link them deterministically when we have actual information that you are using both devices, for example, if you email us from both devices. We use this device linkage information to improve your experience on our Site, and to better serve you. We do not use it for IBA, but if you would like to opt out of having your information on different devices used for IBA, you can opt out from each device you would like to remove at http://optout.aboutads.info/choices.
Any information that you submit or that we collect on the Site may be used for a variety of business purposes, including for example, to: respond to your questions and requests; provide you with access to certain areas and features of the Site; verify your identity; communicate with you about your activities on the Site; tailor content and offers we serve you; market research, Site analytics and operations; improve the Site and for internal purposes; contact you with regard to your use of the Site, reply to you or consider you for employment if you apply for a job through the Site, and, in our discretion, contact you about changes to any the community policy; and for purposes disclosed at the time you provide your Personal Information or otherwise with your consent.

We may share information that is considered non-Personal Information, or non-PII in the U.S, such as aggregate user statistics, demographic or firmographic information, and Usage Information with our affiliates, partners and Service Providers. Some of this information may be considered Personal Data in European countries. Third Parties. In order to carry out your requests, to make various features, services and materials available to you through the Site, and to respond to your inquiries, we may share your Personal Information with third parties that perform functions on our behalf, such as our Service Providers described in Section 1 above and other companies or individuals that: host or operate our Site; analyze data; provide customer service; or participate in or administer contests or promotions on the Site, provided they agree to use Your Personal Information solely on our behalf and in accordance with this Privacy Policy.
Your Agreement To Have Your Personal Information Shared. While on our Site, you may also have the opportunity to opt-in to receive information and/or marketing offers from someone else, or to otherwise consent to the sharing of your information with a third party. If you agree to have your Personal Information shared, your Personal Information will be disclosed to the third party for their use for marketing purposes, and the Personal Information you disclose will be subject to the privacy policy and business practices of that third party.
Business Transfers. Your Personal Information may also be used by us or shared with our subsidiaries, affiliates and other entities in the Publicis Groupe family of companies for internal reasons, primarily for business and operational purposes. As we continue to develop our business, we may sell or purchase assets. If another entity acquires us or all or substantially all of our assets, or assets related to the Site, Personal Information, Usage Information, and any other information that we have collected about the users of the Site may be disclosed to such entity as part of the due diligence process and will be transferred to such entity as one of the transferred assets. Legal Disclosure. The community may transfer and disclose information, including your Personal Information, Usage Information and Device Identifier, (including IP address), to third parties to comply with a legal obligation; when we believe in good faith that the law requires it; if we receive an appropriate and legally sufficient request from governmental authorities conducting an investigation; to verify or enforce our Terms of Use or other applicable policies; to respond to an emergency; or otherwise to protect the rights, property, safety, or security of the community, third parties, visitors to our Site or the public.

As part of our routine record keeping, we may delete certain records that contain Personal Information you have submitted through the Site. We are under no obligation to store such Personal Information indefinitely and disclaim any liability arising out of, or related to, the destruction of such Personal Information. In addition, you should be aware that it is not always possible to completely remove or delete all of your information from our databases without some residual data because of backups and other reasons.
The Site is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect Personal Information from anyone under 13 years of age. If we determine upon collection that a user is under this age, we will not use or maintain his/her Personal Information without the parent/guardian’s consent.
We use certain reasonable security measures to help protect your Personal Information. However, no electronic data transmission or storage of information can be guaranteed to be 100% secure.
